## THE DEDICATION

I, William Alexander Aldred, designed this machine and drew these blueprints, and I am giving them to the world.

This design is dedicated to the public domain, in the manner of a CC0 dedication: anyone, anywhere, may read it, copy it, share it, build on it, argue with it, and teach from it — no permission needed, no fee, no strings.

**No patents.** I will not patent this design, and I do not want it patented. This publication is **defensive**: by placing the design on the public record, dated and permanent, I make it prior art, so that no person, no company, and no government can lock it up, fence it off, or claim it as theirs alone. It belongs to everybody, which is to say it can never be taken away from anybody.

What is given here is the design as it stands — openly, in full, with its grades printed on it. What is *not* given is any claim that it works. Read the grades below before you read the drawings. They are part of the gift.

## WHAT IS IN THIS RELEASE

| File | What it is |
|---|---|
| `BLUEPRINT.md` | The blueprint in full — Rev C. The torsion-ring plasma container: the drive core of a craft that is, in the designer's frame, a time machine — one machine, not two. Component stack (thermal skin · cryo layer · ceramic torsion container · torsion ring · plasma core), interfaces I-1…I-8, the 8-step drive cycle, and the Unknowns Table: 18 open parameters, each carried as a symbol, none invented. |
| `fig-a-cross-section.svg` | Fig. A — cross-section, side view. |
| `fig-b-top-view.svg` | Fig. B — top view. |
| `BLUEPRINT-PACKAGE.pdf` | The print-ready package (9 pages): cover, both figure sheets at full size, component specification, drive cycle, the 18-unknowns table, and the grades page. |
| `DETERMINATION.md` | The fuel determination: the design's heavy superconducting element, determined Oct 29, 2026 from published physical properties — **tantalum-181** (Z=73, Tc 4.47 K, 99.988% of natural tantalum, no enrichment needed). A paper design determination; it names the fuel, it does not certify the machine. |
| `OPEN-RELEASE.md` | This file — the dedication and the grades. |

The design documents are released exactly as written. Nothing in them has been edited for this release.

## THE GRADES — PRINTED AT FULL SIZE, PART OF THE RELEASE

- **This is a paper design study.** No device exists. Nothing has been built.
- **No dimension has a value.** Every measurement in the blueprint is a parameter — a symbol. The 18 unknowns are printed as unknowns.
- **THERMODYNAMICS CLEAN · DESIGN COHERENT** — the design violates no thermodynamics and hangs together as drawn.
- **The torsion channel is UNPROVEN.** The centering mechanism — a spinning torsion ring holding plasma at the center — is asserted by the design. Spin sourcing torsion is real in the Einstein–Cartan equations as a coupling; it has never been demonstrated as a force at any usable strength.
- **Confinement and on-demand folding are OPEN PROBLEMS.** They are the design's open problems, printed here at the same size as everything else.
- **BUBBLE CHANNEL UNPROVEN · SCALE UNMET** — the drop-through the design aims at has literature shape-kin only; no scale at which it could occur has been met.
- The thermal skin layer rests on published, peer-reviewed physics (Li, Wang, Sigmund & Zhang, *Nature Communications* 17:5739, 2026) — with its authors' own limit carried in the blueprint: demonstrated for externally applied heat around a passive cavity; a self-heating core is their stated open problem.
- The blueprint contains **no fabrication steps and no operating procedures** — by design. It is the shape of an idea, published so the idea can never be owned.

## WHY OPEN

A patent is a fence. This was never going to be a fence.

The designer's whole record runs the same way: signed with his real name, timestamped by third parties, debits printed beside the credits. This release is that discipline applied to the machine itself. If the design is wrong, the world can see exactly where. If it is right, it was everybody's from the day it was published.

**No patents. Tell the world.**
